Liberty Park

Besides the broken glass and graffiti this place was awesome... only thing my kids and I would have liked if people were to pick up after themselves as I have to epi pen myself due to people leaving there shellfish carcasses everywhere

A beautiful hidden gem. Unfortunately local vandals have sprayed graffiti everywhere. They've also ruined several picnic tables. Hopefully the local community will decide to get back together and clean this up. It's unfortunate that the few nice places there are to go free and be with nature have to be ruined by local vandals. It is very quiet in Serene. Stay safe get vaccinated social distance.

We love this place. We are there 3 to 5 times a week.

I really enjoyed going to the creek here. It's a nice place to go in the heat of summer. The water is always cool and there are nice little sandbars to sit on and lay your stuff on. The sand is mixed with dirt in places. You can go under the bridge and cross the creek and get to sandbars on the other side. The water is deep where you cross at. One warning is that under the water there are some type of posts or post that you have to be careful of especially if jumping in. I recommend swimming around and thoroughly checking out any spots you are playing in. They also have picnic tables here and I believe grills. Good free place to go and cool off. Kiss really enjoy it.
