The location is near an I-20 intersection as well as a Walmart and various restaurants, so anything you need is nearby. The parking lot is super sketch, but the owners and staff were very friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable, but the pillows were hard so I would recommend bringing an extra if you prefer soft pillows. The bed frame was comfortable but pretty noisy. It didn’t keep me up though as I quickly got used to it and thought it was thunder. Overall the room was clean and well stocked. They didn’t have water bottles or body soap so I’d recommend bring those. The hair dryer was also outdated and didn’t work.
It may sound like I’m listing a lot of negatives, but if you are willing to bring a few extra things from home you will have a comfortable stay with few issues. The area may not look safe at first, but it’s near a main road and there is a fire department right behind the complex, so it’s probably fine. The doors also had good locks and thick windows so I felt safe.
(July 5, 2022, 4:45 pm)The owner and his wife were excellent!!!! Everyone was SO nice here! Even the other guests! I highly recommend them!!!! They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. They gave us the biggest room because we have a service animal. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend staying here! 😁
(April 2, 2022, 9:05 am)Very clean rooms, excellent mattress, clean property. Older place that is very well maintained. I highly recommend staying here. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Oh all the windows are clean on this property that said. Walked around my room in white socks and they stayed white, walked around barefoot comfortably.
