(November 7, 2018, 4:43 pm)As an event coordinator I was able to see behind the scenes as well as direct the actual event. Tara is, by far, the best and most phenomenal vendor to work with. The event space is large and can accommodate more than 200 guests. It is also a well maintained lot with lots of detailed décor to accentuate the property. They are willing to work through any stressful situation with a smile on their face. You can't ask for anything more! If I had it my way, I would work with this vendor at every wedding.
(June 18, 2018, 3:15 pm)Dru and Shakara Jordan were married at The Journey Home June 2, 2018. All individuals we workwd with were attentive, pleasant and easy to work with. Their attention to detail made this a beautiful wedding venue. Even theough the temperature was in the 80's and 90's the weekend we were there, there was a wonderful beeeze flowing through the barn making it very comfortable. The barn is gorgeous. We used it for rehersal dinner on Friday and reception on Saturday. The house accommodated the bridal party and out of town guests. Very relaxing with everything there but food. Highly recommend this venue.
