(October 21, 2014, 5:38 pm)St. Joseph Christian School (SJCS) accommodated immediate needs for my family. As a family with three children, my wife and I were concerned with an appropriate fit for them. Each of them are uniquely different with various needs. Our oldest is a hard worker, but has not been blessed with tremendous athletic talent. SJCS provides her with opportunities to participate in volleyball and basketball. She never participated in her former public school due to stiff competition on the athletic teams. She loves SJCS athletics.
Our middle child has minor learning disabilities. My wife and I were not sure she would be able to keep up academically with students at SJCS. The teacher and principal have literally assisted her all along the way and she is thriving academically. I have never seen my child read and interact educationally as much as she has this school year. She loves SJCS.
Our son began pre-school and we were immediately met with professional certified staff members. SJCS pre-school has a 1/2 day and full day program, which we love as an option. They loved on our son until he transitioned from Mommy into pre-school. SJCS has been a wonderful decision which has been a great fit for all three of our unique children.
(September 23, 2014, 4:50 pm)My wife and I were both the first of our families to graduate from college. We value quality education. Our house also serves The Lord. My wife and I both made the choice to send our children to Saint Joseph Christian School for both of these reasons. We feel that our desire for our a quality education is definitely met above and beyond at the school. Our daughters math class for example has 12 students in it, to 1 teacher, we just see that as nothing but a recipe for success. That coupled with the power of prayer being on full and open display, gives us a really good feeling, knowing that their education is God Breathed. Lastly, for a private school, the prices are quite honestly astronomically LOW, so we feel we are paying it forward for their future tenfold.
(September 22, 2014, 11:51 pm)We started out at SJCS 10 years ago with our oldest daughter beginning PreK. As students my husband and I were both schooled through public education, so were open to whatever God had planned for us but greatly desired a Christ-centered education for our children. With the increasing moral decline in our society and worldly influences distorting education in our country in the past decade alone we have been so incredibly thankful for the opportunity to have our children at SJCS! They are receiving a phenomenal education with great athletic opportunities as well as fine arts enhancement! SJCS has proven to be not only stellar in classroom education, athletics and fine arts but also stellar in reaching the hearts of our children to see how God can be glorified in every area of their lives. We are here not to protect them from the world but to prepare them for the world...to live lives that make a difference for Christ! We have often thought there was no way we could afford to keep our kids at SJCS, but every year God has proven faithful to provide for us to continue here...we are amazed by His Goodness! We LOVE SJCS!!
(September 12, 2014, 5:05 pm)Having graduated our two children from St. Joseph Christian School, I can truly say that this was the best decision we ever made for our children’s education. My husband and I wanted our children to attend a school where the atmosphere was ripe for them to grow not only academically but spiritually, as well. Although we have many Christian friends teaching in the public school, we were concerned that they were limited in how deeply they could delve into the truth of scripture and apply that to academic principals. The faculty and staff at SJCS truly feel called to Christian Education and they really care for the students. Our children were very well prepared, academically, and even more importantly spiritually for college. The teachers provide factual knowledge right along with direction from Truth from the Word. I heard someone say once that Christian Education doesn’t cost…it pays. My husband and I found that statement to be true. It was well worth the investment!!!
