  Dr. Frees is very straightforward and thorough when it comes to diagnosing a horse's problems. He and his team work together to spot the smallest nuances of a lameness problem. Options for treatment are thoroughly explained, and your input as horse owner is considered, including potential cost of treatment. If you have a problem that is alluding other veterinarians, I recommend Wilhite & Frees Equine hospital.

  I live in Texas and was purchasing a horse contingent upon a health exam. The appointment was scheduled for two days later. Dr. Haukos was punctual and professional. It was a thorough exam with images available for my trainer and local veterinarian to review and discuss during the exam. Communication was clear and open. The final report was emailed the same day. Thank you Dr. Haukos.

  Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Excellent Equine Veterianrians. Best in the area. I have used Wilhite and Frees Vets for 16 years, they are fantastic! Highly recommended!!

  I have worked with Wilhite and Frees Equine Hospital on multiple horses. They are always incredibly professional, very straight forward, and offer options that work for me! Their administrative staff is top notch, always willing to help with any matter that comes up! I highly recommend Wilhite and Frees Equine Hospital to equine owners in all disciplines!

  I love Wilhite & Frees! They have been my Equine Vets for the past twenty years, and I use them for all my equine veterinary needs. In my opinion, they are simply the best in this entire area regarding diagnostics and treatment. The veterinarians are skilled, professional and caring, and they are excellent at explaining options and care. The friendly and knowledgeable support staff are top notch, too, and I always know that when I call the office, I can get the help I need. Earlier this spring my little mare rapidly developed Ataxia. Through a quick and accurate diagnosis of a very uncommon condition, she had surgical intervention within a matter of days and is now fully recovered and back to full use. I basically had two options ... surgery or euthanasia. I am so grateful for the skills, the support and compassion of this wonderful practice.
