Always windy, which I don't love, but a fun playground, and portable potties are usually pretty clean.
Great fair grounda. Well kept up. A little of everything for you.
The sun sets here are beautiful. We take our toddler here often. Just to run her out of energy. She sleeps better after this place for sure. She is learning to climb all the obstacles and getting her coordination skills honed. This park has many festivals, rodeos, concerts, bull rides, a long walking path, frisbee golf, a big pond, soccer fields. Please hit the like button
The most awesome public jungle gym I know of in the area, including Kansas City and St. Louis. Slides of different heights are built into the jungle gym. Also has plenty of swings + a soccer field + area for derby car events + the Kearney Amphitheater. There's a huge fireworks show here every July 3rd (around 9:30pm, but gotta show up at least 10-15min before showtime to watch from inside the park).
Great fishing for trout, bluegill, bass, and grass carp, with some crappie and channel catfish too. Large playground area for the kids. Plenty of soccer fields too. The walking trail is short and relatively boring but still good. Great events hosted here during the Jesse James festival.
