(January 8, 2019, 6:38 pm)Great little BBQ place, not a lot of seating, but they also do carry out. Good sauces. Not my absolute favorite BBQ for the K.C. area, but definitely worth a try if you're in the Smithville area.

(November 17, 2018, 10:30 pm)We have eaten at “Chops” in Smithville many times! It’s always been excellent, tonight was no exception! We have always had outstanding food and service every time. When they’re busy, or slower, the same great quality of food and excellent wait staff! The owner has been present (I think he’s the owner) on each occasion, visiting with the customers, friendly with the wait staff as well! Can’t say enough! Outstanding BBQ!
