“We had need for a move with a very quick turn-around due to a foreclosure situation. The husband is disabled, and his wife was completely over her head. After several calls, I reached Kayley with The A Friend With A Truck. She was very helpful and responsive helping us secure a date and time on short notice and she & John both called and were very good and quick in returning calls & communicating with us offering advice. They were flexible as well to accommodate this situation. The day of the move, the 3 guys called ahead to say they were on their way, and showed up early and ready to work. They worked alongside the numerous volunteers who were there to help. We had a 2 hour window to move a 3 bedroom home full of personal possessions, and nothing packed. The A Friend With A Truck employees kept a great attitude throughout, and were very cooperative, responsive & helpful in a very difficult situation. They worked quickly & carefully and finished the move to a storage unit within the time we had allotted. They remained positive throughout the process, and helped advise us on what was realistic to get as many items out of the house for the couple & in the truck. Later at the storage unit they were also helpful suggesting we would need a bigger unit which we acquired and they were exactly right. Good Job, and thanks for your help on this most difficult day! “Full disclosure - I was not a customer. Instead, I called them because some of their pods were blocking a street just enough to prevent trucks to turn in to make deliveries to our construction site. They couldn't tell me who the customer was, of course, or how to contact them. But they did look up the dates for us and let us know when they'd be picked up. Turns out that we could work around the short time they'd be there, so we let it go at that, but 1800PackRat was offering to contact the customer to initiate a dialogue, if not. They were a big help.”
