You can do some serious exploring in these things (mine has been everywhere in Alaska), save on gas, cruise in comfort, and pack in all your essentials. I put a rear cargo rack on mine and plan to throw a Thule roof cargo box on as well which will turn it into a serious gear packing adventure machine.
