Fun House Pizza & Pub

Fun house may be the best pizza place in Kansas city. It has a gritty, dark and somewhat creepy atmosphere that I honestly adore and the pizza is consistently amazing. Nothing is better than a Budweiser and a slice of their combo pizza. I've been eating here since I was a smol foodie and I can't properly explain how much I love it without using expletives and getting this review deleted
So I won't.

Been coming here a long time..not many places like this around anymore you can smell the 70s/80s in the walls (a good thing!). Pizza is always good...remember the good ole times when they had live music . Now my only slight complaint is they don’t stay open late on Friday/Saturday nights anymore for late night munchies! (perhaps it’s Covid related) and some of the employees could be a little friendlier, but otherwise a great Independence nostalgic treasure and some of the best pizza in KC.

Excellent pizza!! I called ahead they brought out my Favorite pizza for my Glo b day!! The big 60! Best way to celebrate!!! Thank you Funhouse on 40 hwy!!!

Love fun house pizza! Have been going for over 50 years. 1st, at the one on 50 hwy. For years . I've tried all locations, I think the one on 40 hwy is the closest in comparison. Was a little disappointed, we travel 1 1/2 hrs to get there,one way. I had to use the restroom and it was closed, to the public ! I understand but was needing to use and was unable.

So good! Carry out only. MUST wear a Mask to enter. Staff is masked. WONDERFUL PEOPLE work here. Knowledgeable, polite, patient, happy, great environment! We had the loaded everything pizza and the bbq with burnt ends. Both pizza's were outstandingly delicious!!! Tons of toppings, perfect amount of sauce..cooked to perfection!!! I can't wait to go back and try some more thing's on the menu. Lunch specials and specials after 5:00 PM M -Th. Prices were very very reasonable. Looks like when the dining area is open they have some arcade games as well. And a nice selection of beverages. Very neat and clean. Having never been to this restaurant before I was very impressed!!!
