I only passed by this location, Tennis Courts in Hyde Park, while traveling around photographing settings in the city and specifically this area. It was easy to notice from the main road so while I can't comment on the business side, I can say it's easy to see.
A little beat up, but the courts work fine;no major issues. Nestled in a nice spot, no chance to lose your balls to traffic which is a plus!
There are tennis courts available here, it's true!
There are also some steps to climb at the North end (if you want, they're optional if you enter/exit from the south). The overall park path is more or less in the shape of a figure 8.
Right now the park could use a little TLC. A few sections of the sidewalk are overrun with dirt/mud and there is a fair bit of trash floating around. Otherwise this is generally a nice little park.
I honestly feel safe here during the day/with natural light... after dusk I don't know that I'd walk it on purpose (especially alone). I'd likely stick to the nearby sidewalks that are more well lit.
I love this park I love the new Labyrinth they put in very tranquil but I heard that this summer they're going to take the Labyrinth away and put in some type of Chiefs symbol... which I think is a big mistake... I will not be going to that Park as much if they take the Labyrinth away... which I think is the best part of that Park... why ruin a good thing????
