  I love this place, reminds me of Greek owned char broiled burger joints back in Los Angeles. Prices are a bit high, but I still love coming here. Get the onion rings, they're excellent!

  Great cooked to order food. Reasonable. Good value. My son enjoyed the Gyro. The tots were quite tasty.

  Burgers are great. Gyros are better. Shakes are fantastic. Curly fries are literally a reason to go.

  I love Max's gyros. The staff or owner could be a lot friendlier though in my opinion, maybe he just needs to retire but hey the food is always great & his prices surely do reflect that!

  Without a doubt, Max's is hands down the best original burger I've had in Kansas City. Very worth giving it a shot!
  
  Eat it fresh, either dine-in or within a few minutes of taking it out. So good!
