“Great well maintained trails. The river trails are pretty easy. If you are more into technical trails you can go into the hills. There are some really technical sections and some fast rolling sections. While these are primarily maintained by mountain bikes, they're open to hikers too.”

“Amazing place to visit and enjoy nature and fellow humans. One of the best parks around. I love the landscape and the trails are beautiful. I will definitely return to see more of what this place has to offer. There is wildlife to enjoy as well. Definitely a place to put on your visit list.”

“Loose Park is an absolutely stunning and beautiful park. There is a gorgeous rose garden near the Northwest end of the park, where you can always find couples taking wedding and engagement photos. There is also a garden shop near the gardens, which is fun to frequent, and a traditional Japanese tea room that can be rented. As you walk through the park, there are many different activities for kids and families, such as a water splash pad, tennis courts, swing sets, shelters, and PLENTY of open grass space that is perfect for a relaxing picnic. The Loose Lake is also pretty to walk around and get up close and personal with some water fowl. Come to Loose Park for a relaxing morning or afternoon stroll. You will be in awe of the spaciousness of the park and the beauty.”

“Top 9 holes are well built, working their way through the woods down a long hill. Back 9 are not so interesting. Basically a back an forth in open fields around an old water tower. Course is worth it if you haven't visited old NE Kansas City or just have a couple hours.”

“This was the neatest place I think I've ever been to. Went with friends that have dogs and never expected to have so much fun. A bar combined with a dog park?! How awesome of a niche to fill. Plus the location is so unique--it's under an overpass, but it's not noisy like you might expect. It's such a unique use of space. More cities should look into doing this!”

“Take son to get practice basketball. However someone or somebodies felt the basketball goal should no longer be facing the parking lot but the baseball field house. WWWWHHHHYYYY do this and then complain the city doesn't have anything or anyplace to go or do in the community....I wonder why?!!! WE GOT TO DO BETTER TO GET BETTER”
