(January 5, 2019, 6:00 pm)This is really a nice place to get a bit of decent hiking or mountain biking in around KC. Trails are well maintained and very clearly marked. The only downside is that it's right next to Lake City Gun Range, but apart from that, great place to get a solid hike in! We did 4.8 miles with a 8 and 5 year old and they worked through all of the inclines and elevation. I will most definitely be returning!

(October 29, 2018, 5:01 pm)I really love to mountain bike here. The trails have a good mix between hard and relatively easy trails. Easy, if you are somewhat experienced. The trails are well maintained by a very dedicated group of volunteers.
