“I took my little girl to Blue Springs Pediatrics urgent care last night around 6:15 only to find out that they stopped taking urgent care patients at 6pm. My little girl was visibly sick and miserable so instead of turning us away the front office staff went back and talked to a nurse to see if they could squeeze us in. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and never once made me feel like i was burdening them, like a lot of places would have! My little girl had a bad sore throat so of course the nurse decided that we needed to do a strep test on her. My little girl has had this done in the past and instantly started freaking out and screaming. It took me and another nurse to hold her down just so our original nurse could swab the back of her throat. I'm pretty sure my daughter kicked the nurse a couple of times trying to get away. The nurse was extremely patient and kind. When our doctor came in the room she was so sweet to my little girl and very informative. I definitely felt like we were in good hands every step pf the way! I made the switch from Cockrell & McIntosh less than a year ago and I am so happy that I did. It is always a stressful moment when your children are sick but Blue Springs Pediatrics goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and cared for! THANK YOU so much to everyone on the night shift 11/07/2018! You have no idea how much I appreciate you all!!!”
