  We always enjoy Porkys bbq! We usually get the family pack so we can sample a little bit of everything. My favorite meats are the cajun sausage and ribs. The potato salad and pasta salad are awesome as well!

  Great place to eat. Bbq is definitely top 5 in the kc area. Service is good and prices are comparable to other bbq places in kansas city.

  Went to Porky's for lunch and got, "The Sampler." That is enough food to feed three or four depending on appetites. Their meats are good and served without sauce. The variety of meat was very satisfying. I loved their ribs and smoked sausage but the brisket, ham, turkey, and pulled pork were really good also. They do burnt ends on Sunday only. They have three sauces available. I enjoyed the hot which I found to be just right. Full disclosure, I use Cajun spices a lot when I cook. Anyway, the sides complemented the meats perfectly. The place is rustic and operated by really nice people. I was not disappointed and will go back really soon! Unfortunately they are not open during the week; only Friday through Sunday afternoon.

  Superior smoked ribs! I stuck with the mild and sweet sauce but my 9 year old ate hers plain. She said, "Don't sauce the meat, Mama. It's yummy just how it is." So happy they're back open!
