“The staff actually teach the children good curriculum and have treated the classrooms like an actual school. This will make an easier transition into Kindergarten for my little one. There are a lot of daycares out there that will just "babysit" your child but this place will actually help and develop your child for an easier way to transition into school or just to socialize a young child as well. No complaints thus far and would recommend this facility to anyone in the search for childcare.”

“I would recommend Winterset Montessori to my closest friends and family! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! Our daughter has been attending Winterset Montessori for about a year. We love the school and the facility is ALWAYS so welcoming. We love the director, Cynda, and we especially adore our daughter's teacher, Miss Chrissy. The school, it's staff and it's curriculum have truly been a blessing to our family. Our daughter will be starting kindergarten this fall and she is more than ready for the transition thanks to Winterset Montessori. Thank you for all you do!!”

“Awesome Christian based education. Academics are ahead of public schools. Student body of around 130. Teachers are truly there to serve the students. Very good athletics program with basketball, volleyball, Cross county, soccer, baseball, track and tennis. My kids absolutely love their school!”

“Showed up for Saturday daily Mass and also what turn out to my pleasure, the last 15 minutes of adoration! What a blessing. Not sure who the wonderful priest was who celebrated Mass was, but it was not Fr. Hope as the picture didn't match. If it was the other clergy list on the bulletin, Fr. Gabe Lickteig there truly blessed. Will make this my regular destination for Holy Mass we ever I'm in town! ”

“Our kids are so happy at Calvary Lutheran School. The students, faculty and families are wonderful, and we feel very much at home. Calvary is a private school, but it's not at all pretentious, which we appreciate. Everyone is down to earth, hard working and kind. We love the diversity at Calvary and the focus on academic excellence, spiritual growth, community service, athletic achievement and the creative arts. We can't imagine sending our children anywhere else.”

“Little Bears Den is more than a daycare and preschool, it's a village filled with Love and nurturing support that children and families need to thrive. My children have only been there for 5 months and my 4 yr old is writing, doing simple math, and she learned about the water cycle. My now 1 year old can recognize and say some of his colors, and he' s painting, singing, and learning new things everyday! Little Bears Den has been a blessing to our family and I highly recommend it to any family. I never worry about my children's safety because I know they are in a place where they are loved and cared for like family.”

“Definitely do your research when choosing instructors. I’ve had some pretty good instructors who taught me a lot and were respectful, and I’ve had instructors that were a waste of time and money or were just awful to deal with. I had one in particular who was very egotistical because they wrote a (self-published) book and pretty much used class to hawk their book and was very condescending and rude towards their students. I had another who rarely showed up to teach their class.”
