“The facility is always clean and most of the teachers are great with the kids! (Some of the newer ones are not as great, but I did not dislike them... they were just not as good as the older teachers). As far as daycare goes, I know my children are safe and happy.... but as far as a school, I feel they are lacking for the ages 18-24 months. Once my oldest started in the 24 month class, I could tell she was starting to learn... but I prior to that, I felt like they were treating her more like an infant. They even had her drinking milk from a bottle when she was fully capable of drinking from a sippy cup!?! They always have fresh fruit cut up and ready to go and my kids always bring home crafts! The teachers don't speak english all that well, but they try very hard and I have not noticed it affecting my children's speech. The price is reasonable (or as reasonable as daycare can be) and I am fairly happy with the service! I would recommend ABC Preschool. To address the security comments I've seen below, they do have a code on the front door, so I'm not sure how anyone who didn't know the code could get in. I have interviewed with several of the 'high tech' places in town... and while, yes, their security is simplistic, the warmth and humanity behind the teachers out did the other local areas. I have two children there now and have been very happy with them.”

“I am a current teacher for Lakewood Montessori and I am very happy to say I love working there the Director is very understanding of my needs considering I have three children of my own that have had many appts or have been sick she has not once made me feel that I am not needed there. She has always been there if i have ever needed anything. I feel that we do get paid fairly well considering places I have worked in the past do not pay very well. I also bring my children there and feel very comfortable about bring them there all the teachers are very attentive to the children needs and are always willing to help when needed. I definitely would recommend this school to anyone! Come check it out to see for your self.”

“My daughter looks forward to go to preschool and that’s the most important. The director is attentive and works with parents easily to get misunderstandings resolved which has only happened once, but happens. Faculty is nice, Ms. Hannah is great. I get daily summaries and through the day updates on what the kiddos have done already. Price is fairly affordable compared to most of the outlandish costs of preschool/daycare. No complaints so far.”

“Excellent Facility and Excellent Instructor. Came in for an initial lesson and the Instructor (Chris) was very quick to diagnose what was wrong with my golf swing. Within the first 5 minutes, I was hitting straighter and almost 15yd farther on each iron. I know this is not typical of all students, but Chris nailed the diagnosis on the head. I am very satisfied with the instruction and would highly recommend to anybody in the Overland Park area.”

“Absolutely amazing school! Located right off Pryor road close to highway 150. It's a part of the Lee's Summit school district. One of the premier districts in the state! It's a new facility so you can expect the amenities that come with a new school! The staff, administration, faculty and everyone else are very courteous and knowledgeable. The curriculum is raised to a higher standard than what the state of Missouri requires which is extremely important to my wife and I. If your child had special needs, they have the people and programs to handle what that need or needs may be. It will help when they widen Pryor Road as currently parents picking up their children cause traffic to back up on Pryor Road. It does move quickly though. I would definitely not let that be a deterrent for moving to the area and sending my child to this school. As a matter of fact, we moved to Eagle Creek a year ago, just so our daughter would go to this school in particular. Plus the high school that she'll go to is Lee's Summit West. The newest and best high school in the district. With all of that being said, send your child there with confidence! Last but not least, Lee's Summit Police are on the property and patrol the area very regularly! I feel very safe sending our daughter there!
