Buchheit Of Herculaneum

A very pleasant shopping experience! The staff is friendly, courteous, and helpful, and the store is well laid out. I could spend days in Buchheit and not get bored. Buddy loved all the attention he got from the staff, and he even got to help clean up some spilled dog food! We'll definitely be back!

Got lots of sale items.

I like this place. There's a real wide selection. You can get almost anything you need for outdoor work or farming. They got tools they got candy. They got old fashioned pickles. They got clothes. I definitely recommend them. Their prices aren't bad either and that's saying a lot considering the state of our economy. The only real critique I would have is the cashiers could engage with the customer more and talk to each other less. And I know that sounds like a managerial complaint but formally I was a manager in a different place and I notice things like that.
It's one thing whenever there's no customers and you're just chatting with each other. Whatever. But when you're actively checking out a customer ringing up their items, it's pretty rude to look behind you and have a whole conversation while giving off the impression that checking out my items is an inconvenience for you.
So you have some customer service things to work on. Otherwise, this review would have been a five star. But it still wasn't enough of an issue for me to not at least give a four star review.

Had a great shopping day at this Buchheit today with my husband. They had everything we were looking for and more. The store was clean, the bathrooms were clean and the staff was friendly and they made sure to open more checkout lanes to service their customers quickly when only a few people were in line. They are still taking precautions for Covid where a lot of other places have began to slack off. Tracy was the associate that checked me out and she was friendly, smiled and talked with me as she rang me up and got me bagged up and checked out in no time. She was a true pleasure and took pride in her job. I will be sure to shop at this location from now on.
