The Medicine Shoppe® Pharmacy

I have traveled the country and I proudly declare The Medicine Shoppe in Pevely, Missouri is the best pharmacy I have ever had the pleasure of doing business. In less than a month, they have already knew my name and had my medications ready when I walked in the door. Non-insurance medications are more affordable compared to larger chains of pharmacies.

There are multiple pharmacists working at a time. So they can quickly answer any medicinal questions. Do not trust RXLIST, Drugs(.) com, or other online resources for drug interactions, ask an actual pharmacy. The most important resource the medicine shoppe offers is it's subscription to a very detailed -and accurate lists of side effects for any medicine. It is miles beyond Walgreens, CVS, Walmart, etc

I used to go to Walgreens, it is 2 miles from my house and it isn't even open 24 hours. My doctor switched my medicine from a 30 day supply to a 90 day supply it would be cheaper. My Vitamin D2 50,000 iu I take 1 pill weekly. Walgreens told me my insurance didn't cover it so I paid $36.99 for 12 pills (3 month supply) out of pocket. My insurance don't cover it for a 3 month supply, but it does however cover a month supply. Walgreens didn't want to take the extra step and see why it wasn't covering it, instead they were pushing me to buy a membership that will make it 20-25.00 don't pay anymore than that. Which I did not buy what a Joke. When pevely medicine shoppe told me the price I was shocked 4 pills cost me $4.00.
To sum it up Walgreens charging me $147.96 a year and Pevely Medicine Shoppe will be $48.00 a year. I'm glad I switched.

I've been coming here for a few years now and their staff is always so nice and go out of there way to please the customer. Barb was especially an angel this weekend with the snow and brought my medicine to me on her way home.
I recently checked into another insurance company but they wanted me to change my pharmacy. I would never do that.

I switched to the Medicine Shoppe about a year ago and it was the best decision I ever made! Jason and his staff (Amy, Barb) - all of them - are ALWAYS so helpful and kind. Whenever I have questions they are there to help. They are quick efficient and they truly care. They are by far the best pharmacy around!
