  It's fun and it's got a lot of delicious items to purchase for cheap prices with high standards of work ethic seen out of all of the employees.

  The place is changing for good in areas, the cashiers are busy yet friendly and helpful, the produce is fresh and crisp, they have what I need for my diet and diabetes foods, I think even I will like the changes.

  This is a small town locally owned store. I am giving it four stars instead of three because of this reason alone. I only shop here if necessary for several reasons. The selection is not the best. Produce department is very small. See pic. No deli. Just a prepackaged self serve kind of thing. Many of their shelves are not stocked well and are disorderly. See pics. And those were just a few of many. My biggest complaint is the overall layout of the store is dysfunctional and disorderly, making it difficult to find anything. The aisles are all different sizes with stuff sitting at the ends blocking your view. See pics. You have to ask constantly to find things, and there never seems to be anyone around to ask for help. Customer service is not much help and that is if someone is in there. When I was in there last one of items rang up full price instead of on sale and I didn't see it until I paid. I asked the clerk. She checked and verified it was on sale. After several minutes of trying to get a manager to help her fix this, while the line was growing, I told her just not to worry about it. She kept apologizing. I told her it was not her fault. I felt sorry for her. I as was leaving the store I turned and looked and still no one had came to help her. Poor customer service. Poor layout of the store. They really need to do better.

  Piggly Wiggly in Higginsville is a really nice place to shop. Friendly staff are always willing to help and the prices are fair. May not have quite as many items as some stores but they fill your needs most of the time.
