(July 6, 2018, 2:43 pm)I would NOT go anywhere else for orthopedic surgery! I had a labrum repair of my shoulder in 09/2016. I followed the PT regimen and my shoulder is better than ever. I'm an athlete in my 30's and I am back to doing what I love, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Dr. Nelson not only repaired a detached and shredded labrum but he reinforced as well. I've heard and seen a lot of people who are not happy with their outcome. I have 2 questions I ask, does your surgeon know and care about what activities you are involved in and did you follow your PT? Dr. Nelson not only took great care of the inner workings of my shoulder, he also was creative in maintaining the integrity of my tattoos on my skin. He hid the scars in my tattoo instead of cutting where he wanted. Dr. Nelson and his staff was always pleasant to see and you can tell they care about what they do. So I say everyday, THANK YOU for your wonderful care of my precious shoulder.
