  Always amazing food! Had my two vegan girls with me this night and the chef guided them to two exceptional dishes. Such great food and service!

  In my opinion, it's the best place to have authentic traditional Mexican food in the Northland. I have been there many time and will continue to visit Ixtapa. The tacos adobados are amazing!!! I you haven't been, you won't regret choosing to eat at Ixtapa

  If you're looking for traditional Mexican food this is it! This is not your typical Tex-Mex cuisine. The food here is always great! The service is good too. The only reason I gave for stars instead of five is because I thought our waiter could have checked on us more often while we were eating. When he came by to clear plates he took the extra plate instead of the empty plate right in front of me. In my opinion, you should always clear the space in frontof the customer first. He did check in once while we were eating though and it was a Saturday night and they were busy. Overall, really great restaurant and I enjoy going there!

  This place is beyond good. Everything was so tasty. I would give it 10 stars if I could. The tortilla chips were fresh and crisp and the salsa was unbelievable. I got the vegetarian taco camallitos. I could not believe the taste.

  First time in tonight and everything was great. I waited about ten minutes for a table at 730p but that's usually a good sign so i didn't mind. One negative was that they really don't have a spot to wait so a few of us were crowded by the front door like sardines. That wasn't all that bad though because I had really good conversation with a couple that was also waiting. It seemed like a lot of people were regulars by the way they were talking to the staff...another good sign.
  I let my waiter suggest my dinner and he picked some killer tacos. He also recommended the pumpkin cheese cake...i was a little hesitant but i ordered it anyway and and I'm glad i did! Another home run.
  Food was outstanding and so was the service. Hopefully they can buy a bigger restaurant soon becuase I'm sure they could fill it up. Well done!
