“Easily one of our favorite places. Beautiful, well-kept trails, easy distance from parking, not too difficult for preschool feet. The different features (waterfall, bridge, etc) and varied wildlife make all seasons fun to explore. Got kids entering 3rd through 5th grades? The City of Parkville hosts a day camp at the Nature Sanctuary and includes activities like netting water bugs in the stream and hiking the Sanctuary. I cannot recommend enough!”
