“I had my Husband take me to RCMH ER, in May of this year because I was having severe abdominal pain. I had had pain comparative to this before, but this pain was not going away. I was quickly taken back to an exam room where the nurses (some of the best!!) and Dr. Rose worked on finding the source of my pain. All the while, they all listened and showed great care and compassion as they were treating me, and tried to make me as comfortable as they possibly could, given the circumstances. Upon results from a CT Scan, they found that I need an appendectomy ASAP. They set up surgery immediately, and a hour and a half later, Dr. Mrosak was working on getting my appendix untwisted from my intestines. Upon beginning my "wake up" from the anesthesia, I was groggy and very anxious to go home, but due to minor complications from the surgery, I had to be admitted. After the anesthesia wore off, I began to experience referred pain in my right shoulder and seriously thought I was dying. The fabulous nurses tried anything and everything and kept in constant contact with Dr. Mrosak for suggestions on what they could do for pain. They worked tirelessly together and helped my cranky, hard-headed self to finally get through the beginning stages of surgery recovery. I must say that their nursing staff is definitely top notch, and I sincerely hope they never have to deal with another "me" again... (HaHa) I seriously highly recommend our Hospital to those that need emergency care and/or specialized care. Top notch Doctors and Nurses who are out of this world!”

“Went in to find a decent priced car for our daughter, there was no pressure to buy. We did the test drive, it was offered that we could take the car overnight to make sure it was the right vehicle for us! Have NEVER had that happen at other dealerships. Kirk was our salesperson and he made us feel very at home. Can't remember the young lady that helped us with paperwork, but she was down to earth, explained everything to us. Thanks Swofford's! “Doc Stewart is very honest about any outcome concerning your pet or farm stock. Some may take it as rude but he calls it as it is, which I welcome and respect fully. He works with the Humane Society, offering his services to the needs of abandoned and stray animals. He personally helped me several years ago when I brought in a stray that had eventually freed himself from a trap and drug himself to our newly purchased little farm (moving here from Gladstone) with a terribly mangled leg. I loaded an unknown animal in the back of my vehicle and my three small children and drove to the closest veterinarian. By chance, Shirley from the Humane Society was inside and saw the distress it was causing me and my three children. The degree of injury only allowed two choices; put him to sleep, or amputate the leg. I didn't have the funds for a surgery and he now became my dog. He drug himself to the only people that had given him love and food for about one week before he had disappeared. Shirley offered the assistance of the Humane Society to pay a large percent of the expenses, if I would promise to keep & care for him; no question to this decision! He was the most dedicated, loyal, and big hearted dog I knew and he lived many years beyond this a very happy three legged dog. He had no restrictions and could run as fast as the other dogs. I will never forget Doc. Stewart, Shirley (she has since passed away) or the Ray County Humane Society. Thanks Doc!”

“Mark was fantastic. I as on my way to an important meeting. Very important for me. My vehicle couldn't make it to his shop. He was at my location within 10 minutes, had me follow him back to his shop and fixed my car, FAST. I told him how helpful he had been, expecting him to charge me an appropriate fee. He didn't. It was low and I paid a bit more. If you need auto service, anywhere near here, I wouldn't go anywhere else.”
