Washington University Children's After Hours - O'Fallon

I’m surprised at several negative comments. We’ve been here many times (why do illnesses seem to always hit nights and weekends?!) and always have great care. The NPs are always great with kids and we’re in and out quickly. I don’t think we’ve ever been there more than an hour tops. Definitely recommend making an appt. online before going in though. Sure beats waiting for the peds office to open on Monday when you have a kiddo with a suspected ear infection etc.

We had a wonderful experience here today. I came in with my one year old son who felt miserable. We walked in without an appointment, we got checked in right away, everybody was very friendly, we were in the room right away and nurse Connie, I believe, was absolutely the sweetest nurse ever! She did great with my son and she was very gentle and caring. We saw Nurse practitioner Stacy and she was absolutely amazing as well! They both made sure that my son got the best care and necessary tests. They were caring and very sweet and helpful! All of the staff went above and beyond and they also helped me with the stroller on the way out all the way to my car since my son was sleeping in my arms. I will be taking my baby there from now on if he needs urgent care. Definitely much better experience than we had in a different hospital’s emergency room.

Trish at the front was so sweet and fit us in at 7:15pm last night when we weren't aware we could make appointments. Sherre made my kids feel so loved and happy about their strep test, checking all their vitals and made them laugh. Dr Stacy was so quick to see us (within 20 min of checking us in, getting strep test, and vitals) and was so nice to calm all of my concerns and just gave us the best experience! I hope I spelled all your names correctly! Thank you for all you do and the convenience of your hours!
