The loss of 1 star is because of the wait time that is sometimes experienced. The staff is nearly all great (there are some “rougher” phlebotomists that hurt more). However, if I’m limited to 10 minutes before or after for a “window”, then there should be something in place to make sure I’m not waiting in a lengthy line. Technically, TWO, lines.
While I realize this is likely due to staffing and every industry is short these days, then that should be made up by lessening the amount of appointments, or at the very least being able to notify people scheduled that you’re unexpectedly short staffed and the expected wait time is “x” minutes in both lines.
I will say this, in 2021 when I was donating it was “normal” to wait for upwards of 3 hours. I have not experienced that bad of a wait this year (or most of last), but my time is valuable too.
I realize I’m getting paid for my time, but time away from my other duties and activities (that I have to curb because many activities cause my screening to be off, and I waist long times just for screening, only to be turned away
I make great concessions to do this. Yes, the money is a great bonus (I try to save it up for presents throughout the year), but I’d rather work a PT job and know I’ll get paid for my time. No, it doesn’t medically benefit others, but if I was in this for money, that’s what I’d end up doing.
Please work on some kind of messaging system to update people throughout the day on wait times. There’s an app, I’m sure there can be some kind of message board. Then at least donors could say “line is an hour long today”, etc.

Amazing staff, very caring and thoughtful. They are very professional and know exactly what they are doing. They are very realiable.

Appointments are super easy
