Matthew Melander, DO

Dr. Melander has been my Orthopedic Surgeon since 2010. Due to my Osteoarthritis I have had several joint replacements. I have so much confidence and trust in Dr. Melander! He has always made me feel like he cares about my recovery AND he listens to me! He’s not just in and out of the room! His video says he may just spend five minutes with you, but he wants you to feel like he just spent 5 hours with you! Believe me, after 10 yrs. of surgeries and recoveries, I couldn’t have said it any better. He’s the BEST!

Dr. Melander knows his field. I trust him and I believe I always receive the best care from him and his staff whenever I need to see him. I'm declaring that I will not see him again for a long time though😁 I'm prayerful for restoration and healing.

Dr. Melander was a referred to me. Upon my first visit I experienced nothing but professional treatment showing empathy, sense of humor with very clean facility. Staff very patient and make you feel comfortable which is a plus. Beyond professional Dr Melander is well kept and groomed he care about his appearance which show he care about his staff and patients. I will definitely recommend him.

Dr Melander has done my shoulder surgery and my sisters. He is very patient and explains everything in detail and so that you understand. I have never waited over 15 minutes and I don’t mind the wait because I think he is one of the best doctors in St Charles County. I highly recommend him!!!

Dr Melander did a fantastic job on my knee. I tore my medial and lateral meniscus and thought running and sports were over. His excellent surgery as well as diligent coaching on rehabilitation has enabled me to play tennis at a very competitive level at 48. We trust our entire family to him and appreciate his skill and expertise.
