We were referred to Bluebird Construction to act as a general contractor following a sewer line backup in our basement. Joe was quick to respond to my initial call, and very helpful in explaining the whole process. Joe and his team were amazing to work with. I’ve never had a better experience working with a general contractor and I’ve had some BAD ones before. Joe was incredibly responsive. I was never waiting on him. He made it clear how the process would work and that’s exactly how it went. Prices were very reasonable and best of all he made understanding the insurance claim process easier since he used to be an adjuster. Let me tell you, the insurance company’s strange terminology was hard to follow but Joe understood it all and explained it all. That was really valuable. And I used to audit insurance companies for a living—still hard to understand—but thanks to Joe it was simplified for me. Invaluable skill I really truly appreciated in this process. Joe and his team did an amazing job start to finish on our new roof. He worked closely with our insurance company to get us every possible dime in getting us a quality new roof. My roofing guy, who I trusted completely sent me to BlueBird Const due to the fact he was retiring. Yet he did me one last favor and checked out my roof. Upon his recommendation I had Joe at Bluebird Construction do my roof. The turnaround time was amazing and the job was top notch. I literately signed the Contract Late Tuesday and had a new roof the following Monday. Joe seamlessly worked with my insurance company. After walking the roof under my own inspection, everything was perfect. He is my roofer for life.
