(January 22, 2020, 4:18 pm)We were passing through today and decided to stop in for lunch. I had a cheeseburger which was hand partied and my daughter had the hand battered tenderloin sandwich. Ee shared some seasoned Suzy Qs and a peice is homemade chocolate pie with real meringue on top. It was absolutely delicious and only came to $15.00.
They are known for their pan fried chicken which is also scrumptious.
(December 28, 2019, 2:56 pm)We are from out of town and stopped here for lunch with my parents. We were seated immediately with very friendly staff. The food was old fashioned goodness that was hot and plentiful. Our server Hunter was open, friendly and very likable. He was quick and attentive, engaging and knowledgeable. Thank you Hunter for making our visit a very pleasant stop over.

(September 14, 2019, 9:34 am)How nice to find a great hometown restaurant with delicious, homemade food served by friendly and attentive staff. Fried chicken cooked perfectly in cast iron skillets with three sides and large homemade roll for $7.00! ???? Homemade coconut and chocolate cream meringue pies and cherry cobbler! Delicious! ???? Large rooms with plenty of seating for steady stream of customers. Only drawback is that smoking is allowed. Service is excellent -- our waitress, Jan, has been working there for 32 years! ???????? We'll be back! Worth the drive to Lowry City, Missouri!
