I enjoy the historic river bridge most. This trail is the least bothersome way to ride and avoid hassle of traffic.

We are full time RVers and stayed here one night on our way through town. We were a little skeptical pulling in because it's in a more residential area and they have RV spaces mixed in with mobile homes. However the guy in the office was very friendly, the park is very clean and well maintained. The residents here are friendly and quiet and the pool is also very clean and well maintained. The sites are large and extremely level and have nice gravel with a concrete slab in the middle for grills, tables and chairs. We can't speak to the restrooms and showers because we always use our own. But if they are like the rest of the park I have no doubt they are also great. The only drawbacks are the streets are slightly narrow and they are old school and don't take cards, cash or check only. If we come through the Phoenix area again we will definitely stay here.

Nice park in AJ. This was our second time staying here. In the summer, (which is when we stayed here both times) not many people around. The few we have met are very friendly. The manager is very pleasant and helpful. The place is well maintained. We did not use any of the facilities or amenities but there were people taking advantage of the pool and seemed to be thoroughly enjoying it. Last year we used the restrooms and they were well maintained. The pricing is very reasonable.

We were only supposed to stay here for a week but ended up staying for over a month due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The owner is named Curtis and he was very kind in allowing us to extend on short notice. Daily and monthly rates are very competitive. One long term resident stated that Carefree Manor is the best deal in Apache Junction. Our full hookup back in site was a bit tight but comfortable. Electrical post had two extra 120 volt plug-ins, which came in handy for our 2nd air conditioner in 100+ degree heat! Park has a small pool and it was well maintained. We paid for an optional 1 month of high speed wifi and the quality at our site was excellent. Long term residents were kind and welcoming. Great location that is close to many businesses. We really enjoyed the dedicated walking/jogging path as well.
