I have to admit. The personal at Affton Radiator is outstanding! The quality of service and the cust. service was an A+. Kyle the vice President was very understanding to my situation and very informative. I've let all of my business partners as well as friends know about the great all around service at Affton Radiator.

Let me explain why this is a true 5 star rating. I bought a car that was wrecked. Thought it wasn't that bad until we noticed two bosses on the aluminum block broke off. I left it on the trailer and pulled it to Custom Metal Works on Bayless to reattach the bosses or get it to work. The man was very nice, and told me he couldn't weld on it unless I pulled the engine so he could weld it on his bench. Being a 14 hour book time job, that is not what I wanted to hear, so I got a second opinion. I trailered the car to Valley Park Welding and the man said it couldn't be done while the engine was still in the car. "Pull the engine, bring it in, and I can do it." Feeling beat, I asked for recommendations and found two more professional welders in the area. The third said the same thing, the fourth said it may be possible, but he didn't want to even attempt it. I then heard that Affton Radiator employed an exceptional welder and I figured I would try for a 5th time. Not only did Matt W. say he would attempt the impossible weld, he succeeded and saved me well over $1000. If you are looking for the best welder in St. Louis, Affton Radiator is the place to go. Sign on the door says no "lite" welding, but if its an hour + or so worth of work I am sure they would take it on? I would've never thought a radiator repair shop would triumph where several welding shops failed. Now you know!
