Our funeral director, Stephanie Brown, has been nothing short of an angel when my only child, 18 year old, Nicholas, unexpectedly went to heaven on March 16, 2020. From our very first meeting, Stephanie was so kind and compassionate and helped us through every step of this nightmare, even still today, months after his Celebration of Life service. Even during COVID restrictions, she helped us make Nicholas' wake meaningful and special. Her concern & support has helped bring peace and comfort during this painful time. My entire family LOVES Stephanie & I HIGHLY recommend working with Stephanie at Jay B Smith. If I could design the perfect funeral home director, without a doubt, it would be Stephanie Brown. You can't beat a locally owned and operated business.... My father and I pre-planned 4 yrs ago, what a blessing that was. I live 300+ miles away. They're the kindest accommodating people. Beth with JB and I got most of finishing touches done by phone. I highly recommend this funeral home!
