Free abstract sculpture area with over 60 sculptures in woods and fields. Would be a couple of miles to see it all. We did about 75% of it in 2 hours - spaced out enough to not have crowds. Get a map. Relaxing place.
We only saw close to half the sculptures in a decent amount of time! If you plan to go give yourself 3 hours minimum to view all 76 sculptures. There are also trails to hike.
Laumeier Sculpture Park is a true masterpiece of art and nature! This 105-acre outdoor museum is a gem that combines the beauty of nature with captivating sculptures at every turn.
Wandering through the park's winding trails is like embarking on a creative journey, and the sculptures scattered throughout make it a visual feast for the senses.
With a 1.4-mile walking trail, it's an excellent place for art enthusiasts, families, and anyone looking for a unique outdoor experience.
Don't miss the chance to take a break from campus life and explore this treasure trove of creativity in the heart of nature!
This is a cool park! Several neat photo ops. There's an art hike trail that is supposedly .77 miles long but we got lost and didn't get to do the whole trail. Bathrooms were okay. Plenty of parking. Dog friendly, bring bags.
Fun and calm place to spend a morning/evening or even a day picnic. Many Sculpture’s are under renovation right now (still won’t bother your visit)
What can be improved- is the directions to get in the park. The roads to get inside the park gets confusing, but ample parking.
