The J - Chesterfield Gym & Fitness Center

Best equipment, best community of members / environment inside the gym space, and the friendliest owner who makes everybody feel like family! I love this gym and always enjoy my time working out here! 10/10 recommend for anyone and everyone in the STL area!

Love the J. Variety of classes are excellent. Susan S teaches Cardio Pump and does an excellent job motivating everyone and gives a great workout. Laina teaches spin and is a fabulous instructor. She educates and challenges you throughout the class. So happy they are instructors with the J. Please don't leave!!

Unlike the YMCA and the Lodge of Des Peres, the J provides towels (Large Ones), shampoo, body wash, conditioner, etc. The water pressure that comes out of the shower heads is simply amazing. Literally your cleaned from head to toe within 2 minutes. The hospitality is great! The employees are respectful and let you relax. They don't bother you and are not overbearing. The locker rooms are nice with TV's inside. Place is great and compared to the others the price for membership is around the same. I'm surprised they don't charge more $$$ because they are well above the YMCA and others.

Excellent gym and workout place. The place is clean, not too crowded and had array of equipments. The basketball court, indoor and outdoor pool and variety of aerobics, spinning classes make it real fun place to be. We tried two nearby similar facilities: Y and chesterfield athletic club and this is far superior place! Also has a children corner where you can leave the young ones in good care.
