Dr Tessier’s approach with me was very personalized and after giving me the opportunity to discuss how the first 2 weeks following surgery went, he really listened and was able to zero in on what was causing some of my issues which was a response to the meds. I feel safe and assured in his hands & pulling the trigger on this surgery was difficult but necessary and I am so happy he is my Dr. My incision was straight, healed fast and I DID NOT have ANY bruising! That’s just unbelievable.
He is a highly skilled surgeon.

I went to Dr Tess for years before he left Mercy. He listened to me, looked at me & took his time. Not easy to find a doctor like that!! Excellent doctor, I was a hospital pharmacist & am very particular about my doctors!!!

I agree with all the good things reviewers had to say about Dr. Tessier; however, my only problem was that my pain meds were discontinued because "you might become addicted." I do not have an addictive personality and I think I endured unnecessary pain after my hip surgery.

Dr Tessier took care of me with a broken knee several years ago. The office staff are always friendly, thorough and timely in being seen. Now 6 years later I had surgery on my knee. Same experience and Dr Tessier sits while he talks with you. He explains what is going on & even personally called me with the MRI results and why surgery was needed instead of having a nurse do that for him. He is worth my drive from Illinois. From a broken Tibial plateau fracture to a knee surgery he is the only orthopedic surgeon I will ever use or refer!!!
