“I am a 30+ year old, combat veteran that was sent to this location for my heels to get inserts and shoes. From the moment I stepped in to the facility the front desk staff greeted me with a smile and much courtesy. My specialist, Barb was very welcoming and funny. I could tell she really cared about me. She made me feel heard, unlike the VA. While in treatment at this location (4 different times) the staff I interacted with made me feel like I was family (that's the best way I can describe it).I did not think I would like the shoes but my specialist, Barb was able to search for shoes that fit my style of dress, and were more suited for my age. I wear my inserts and shoes everyday! I can't believe inserts and shoes would this big of a difference in my life. I can go on walks longer than 10 minutes without feeling excruciating pain on my arch and heels now!!! It is good to be able to finally eliminate one of the things that prevented me from living a happy life now that I am out the Army (medical reasons). I recommend this location to any Veteran, or individual looking for services where they would be treated with dignity, respect, care, and fairness. Let them take care of you. Go back to being able to do some of the activities you used to do before!”
