(December 8, 2014, 4:40 pm)In the past five years this cemetery has totally changed for the better; once run-down and abandoned, is now beautiful and peaceful. This is due to an overwhelming community commitment to maintain, and support Friends of Father Dickson with emphasis's on understanding and respecting the first and second generations of slaves buried in these hallowed grounds. Stop at nearby at Sappington House for a booklet that details the individuals buried here.
