“It really is a nice historic site. I've been there probably 20-30 times and it's never been super busy. In fact, there have been days when my family were the only ones there. It's got a ton of great information and I joke that I could have given the tour when I was a kid because I visited so often. It's the first historic site I can remember visiting and it got me hooked on history. It's a great trip, and as an added bonus, Grant's Farm is right across the street, I recommend making a day out of it and going to both!”

“Thank you, Rustic Grain, for providing information for us to research and learn about the area and the barn that provided wood for our dining table. Our wood began as the building material for a barn over 160 years ago in Missouri. It tells it's story through pitting and saw marks acquired over the years. Now our children and grandchildren will get to add their history to the wood. Our table is so beautifully handcrafted it will be gladly welcomed by the next generation. Who knows how long it will remain in our family! Maybe another 160 years!!!”

“This review was written during the covid-19 pandemic. All the staff were wearing masks and had the tables spaced adequately apart. On this visit I ordered the Pot Stickers, Pineapple Duck Curry, and. Thai Iced Tea. The pot stickers were served in a scrumptious curry sauce. The Duck was tender and juicy with a sauce that was pleasantly spiced and spicy. The service was very fast and the facilities clean with cool photos from Thailand.”
