“We had driven past the entrance to the World Bird Sanctuary many times, on our way to Lone Elk Park. But, this was the first time we had paid the nominal entrance fee to visit. This is a place with a mission/purpose, and it's a good one. The exhibits are well laid out and the variety of birds is unexpected. One of the best features is the stories posted on the enclosures, how the bird got there...the circumstances, etc. We will be back in warmer weather, for sure.”

“Lovely fun track which I've played twice now. Once solo walking, once as a 2x2 scramble. (October 9th) Many teeboxes are hard/dry, fairways are tight and dry, most greens are great, a couple were ball pocked wastelands. Errant shots can often be found due to the open/back n forth layout, but tall grass=gone. High Greens Fees are the only reason I don't play here more. $50 is too much for a weekday afternoon when the course empty.”

“Watched online during lockdown of covid and I love Father Joe Kempf. Feels like he speaks directly to me, and God speaks through him. He is so welcoming and understands grief and tries to apply all different kinds of people in his homilies- married, single, kids. Amazing speaker and I still watch his homilies online because I feel this connection with him. His videos helped me a lot when my mom passed away last year and he knows what to say to those who are grieving. Excellent pastor- we had him at Assumption in O'fallon and he would always wait til the end of the school day and hug and say goodbye to the dayschool kids. The kids love him. Has excellent books for adults and kids that he wrote.”
