(November 27, 2021, 8:35 pm)Small sports bar. Easy access off of manchester. Took a bit to get acknowledged but once we greeted it was great service. Felt price and proportions were good. Homemade chips were great. Club sandwich had real thick turkey breast- not lunch meat slices. Cheese curds were good. Teen said it was the best grilled cheese ever-she likes fancy . Also liked that salads had the option to be turned into wrap. Good overall. Would return.

(December 23, 2020, 7:17 pm)My wife and I just moved to the area and this was our first meal out. I ordered online for curbside pickup. I arrived at the stated time, but no one ever came out. I went inside and saw my order sitting on the table. Still unclear exactly how that was supposed to go down.
The food was pretty good. I got the big kid grilled cheese with bacon and a side of lotsa tots. The sandwich was great. The tots were pretty disappointing. They had the fattiest pieces of bacon I’ve ever seen on them. My wife got fish n chips with spicy fries. She said the fish was just OK but the fries were really good. -

(February 23, 2020, 4:12 pm)Very quaint. Going with a large group (when their busy) would pose a bit of a challenge. Portions are good for the $. We ordered the cheese curds...I'm used to larger curds from other places...these were little curds but a fork did the trick. We got the pastrami sandwich and the philly cheese with chicken. I'm extremely picky about pastrami...this was thinly sliced and just slightly smokey...zero gristle...the 1000 island dressing and the sauerkraut paired well. The philly was good...veggies seasoned well and I'm a huge fan of queso blanco...and the fries were yum! I will go back. Oh and I opted for the parmesan encrusted texas toast on the pastrami instead of the rye....GOOOOOD

Last November, J.P. Fields West opened in a former sandwich shop in a small strip mall in Des Peres, The Shoppes at Tallbrooke. Prichard opened the 40-seat restaurant with Jim Campbell, owner of the original John P. Fields, but not with the intention of simply duplicating the popular Clayton location's menu and concept.
