Holy Infant Church

Have been a member continuosly since April of 1955; got no complaints.

Love late-night adoration and the Sunday 7am Mass. But like many modern suburban parishes, it can get very noisy with folks arriving and loudly greeting one another. The acoustics lend to echoing and unfortunately you can hear each and every thing said in vestibule. But folks are generally loving and welcoming and the priests are so faithful. And Christ is there...regardless whether I can tolerate nit-picky noises or not. :)

Holy infant is a large vibrant community that has something for all peoples of all ages to participate in and thus feels like family and a place where anyone can belong. When I'm away I can't wait to return to my second home.
Not only are our priests able to be present 24 7 as we need them, there is a safe sanctuary to pray around the clock the congregation is that committed to actively praying. Many ministries. Great school. Wonderful parish school of religion and one of the best music worship programs and participation at each celebration of mass. Amen we are blessed indeed in this parish.

CND 5861 Sounds like you need to walk over to church (bring your bible) and ask GOD to heal your anger. By the way definition of Church is when 2 or more People gather and worship his name. And the youths you are disgusted with I rejoice them when they sing and gather and laugh. Are they breaking your windows and into your home stealing all your coveted things. NO ... They are singing and laughing that's what happy Children do.
If this is all you have to complain about in life... then I will pray for your healing.

You see I was just looking online for a Catholic Church nearest me. I was recently diagnosed with cancer. I had to get rid of most of my things move into a really small space and simplify my life. I
no longer have a car and will have to walk to church on healthy days.

And your post is the first I see. Then other negative posts about the treatment of a 7 year old girl receiving the host. First I was disgusted and thought I might not be right for this church. The last place I want to be judged is in the Catholic Church. I'm looking for spiritual enlightenment.

If Jesus were handing out the host he would have given the little girl 2 breads place his hand on her forehead and given her a special blessing. You see Jesus would have already known she has not received the sacrament.

As far as CND what if on the next night the youths meet, you walk over and introduce yourself. Tell them stories of the cool cars and music that played when you were their age. You might laugh with them. And the next time you see them they may even wave and call you by name. that would tickle my heart and yours.

This is a great Parish from what I have seen. Father Vortriede, Father Anstoetter, and Father Stanger are very good men and from what I have seen, very holy priests. This is a very vibrant Parish with a good mix of ages and families. This Parish is top notch and offers many great opportunities to worship and serve. Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration is offered, and with the Eucharist being the source and summit of the Catholic Faith this is a great opportunity to pop in and Prayer in front of the Blessed Sacrament or to commit to a specified time with the Lord. Also during the week they offer a 6AM mass, so if you need to get to work too early to attend a 6:30 AM Mass, this makes Daily Mass an option for you! If you live in the Ballwin area this is a great place to grow closer to Christ and be a part of a vibrant Faith community! The school is highly recommended as well!
