“My parents switch nursing facilities to have care in the same room and be together. They were blessed to be accepted to enter full nursing care here during Covid. As with any elderly care, it is not easy. I feel the nurses and staff did a great job of caring for my parent’s spiritually, and physically. They knew when they needed more care with hospice and we appreciated them using their heart and knowledge to offer that service. I felt they did a good job of controlling pain and keeping them comfortable. Words cannot express how much we truly appreciate the hospice team, even after my parents passed away. “I worked there 20+ yrs ago and yes the building was old then & needed to be modernized to match the current society's living environment, but that did not make or break Cori Manor. We worked hard there. The staff loved the residents & took great care of them. It didn't matter that we didn't have a big fancy building, we had what was important & that was compassion, kindness, love, & consistency. We had good leaders that were on the floor & helping out when needed, and we had a low turn over in staffing because people enjoyed working there. All homes have issues, if you have a good group of ppl to care for the residents, you've got it made... be thankful for that... appreciate what's important, if Cori Manor is still open & providing care 20+ yrs later, that says alot to me...there are standards that have to be maintained, Give them the credit they deserve. Woo Hoo for Cori Manor!!”
