“Decided to try this cute little cafe closer to home than driving into the city to find a place with breakfast options closer to 11 AM. This is a cute place on Main Street in Plattsmouth and I wasn’t disappointed. Great portions, great prices and very attentive, friendly staff. The only reason I’m giving it a 4 is because the gravy was pretty stiff and a little on the salty side, but the biscuits were perfect! Everything overall was pretty good and had the feels of being at home eating grandmas cooking. We will definitely be back!”

“both myself and my husband are patients of Dr. Carlsson’s and I have diabetes and other health issues and contrary to what the previous person wrote in their review, I have found quite the opposite with Dr. Carlsson he has always been very straightforward with his advice and always let me know what he felt was best for me and my situation in his opinion, he did not just tell me what he thought I wanted to hear he told me what I needed to hear about my health and what I needed to do to take care of myself and I feel that he is a very good and experienced doctor and has always taken good care and given good advice to me and my husband and I would highly recommend this doctor I feel that he listens to you and understands that sometimes you may not always want to hear what he has to say but it needs to be said because it is in the best interest of a patient’s health, and from the beginning he had recommended a colonoscopy for my husband because of his age and has always kept us up on what different preventative care we needed to do because of our age , I also wanted to mention that Dr. Carlsson had also taken care of my mom for many many years before she eventually passed of dementia and Alzheimer’s but she always talked about how she liked him as a doctor, so I just wanted to write this review because I appreciate the fact that Dr. Carlsson gives you the information that you need but he’s also respectful to let people make their own decisions about their healthcare without making them feel bad for not maybe always exactly taking his advice, which I greatly appreciate because I have a lot of things going on in my life that’s difficult to deal with and I’m also trying to manage my healthcare and sometimes I don’t always do the best job of following the doctor‘s advice but I do try hard to do so but Dr. Carlsson doesn’t make me feel horrible for not doing that and that does mean a lot to me, so this review is an honest review of my personal experience with this doctor and also my husband’s experience, I must say I have not been able in 30 years of being married, to get my husband to a doctor much he just does not like going at all and I had a really tough time trying to get him to go to Dr. Carlsson at first just because he was a doctor and It’s just hard for him, it was nothing personal towards Dr. Carlsson at all but I will tell you the first time he went and he walked out of his appointment ,he told me how much he liked Dr. Carlsson and now he has no problem going in for his check ups and required visits, so I’m grateful that my husband has a doctor now that he feels comfortable with. And I also wanted to mention that he has a very nice office staff and nurses there, they are always friendly and accommodating and it’s nice to have a small town office where are you always see the same faces”

I also received a lot of compliments from employees, etc. on my glasses selection. Very informational with my diagnosis for proper lenses. I would definitely recommend Dr. Bateman. “The glamping tents were exactly the place we were looking for to quite stay. It is the perfect mix of tent camping in nature with solitude but with all the amenities of electricity, bed off the ground, coffee, firewood, outdoor shower, ect. Herb gave a brief but detailed tour of the space with where to find everything and how everything works. I'm so glad I found this spot away from a busy rv campground and will definitely come back if I have a chance.”
