Our senior kitty had been diagnosed with a terminal illness at an animal hospital. We brought her home and called Dr. Pete. He had been our vet years ago, prior to his retirement from traditional practice. He was so kind with Mimi and with us. We could not be more grateful.

Timely, efficient, and no nonsense. The doctor has a calming demeanor that our typically hesitant dog responded well to. I recommend and will use this veternarian again in the future.

Our dachshund had a rough year from a slipped disk in his back to issues with his sinus cavity that was not getting better. After 6 months of watch him struggle, 3 Vets, 5 antibiotics, allergy medicine, steroids, and teeth cleaning/pulled we were out of options for helping him. The next step would include thousands of dollars in diagnostics with no real guarantees. We made the tough decision to show him mercy and put him to sleep. We decided for our dog to have a home euthanasia so he could go with his family. Housecalls for Pets/ Dr. Pete was very thorough in explaining everything he was going to do and compassionate with us during those very hard moments. I found that some the negative comments may come from his no BS first impression but in the end some of his words of comfort will stay with us forever. Would recommend and plan on using for other Vet services in the future.
