It's funny, I come here often enough and was debating about coming back this day to grab one of the incredibly priced valentine heart cakes I saw the week before, but had elected not to get. I wasn't actually going to look again, but the gas station I typically go to was out of premium that I have to use now and it just so happened that the next most convenient station is behind TJ's. (Good to know info)
They were out of the cakes of course, but I enjoyed the spiced dark vintage beer I found instead.
Trader Joe's is consistent. You know no matter what location you visit, you will always get great friendly, helpful service, quality food and lots of unique variety. TJ has always been one of my favorite grocery stores. Parking is tight and limited at this location.
Fast and nice staff. Didn't know it was the original store in Pasadena... I just happened to pass through. They had everything just like what I'm used to in New England, so very consistent!
This is the very first Trader Joe’s. What it lacks in square footage, it makes up with its great inventory. There is a lot of seasonal items presently including holiday fare and decor as well as European chocolates, sweets and pastries. The staff are always nice and helpful.
Lots of parking on both sides of the store and on the street. Ample cards available and they have an outdoor plant area as well. It is a ramp going up into the store rather than stairs so it is more accessible for those in need. Store can be a little crowded at times but it really just depends on when you go. They're vegetables and fruits are okay but sometimes are over packaged and aren't the freshest. They have a wide selection of alcohol and bread. They also have some pre-made meals like salads and sandwiches for purchase. You have to look but you'll find there are lots of vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free products. They even have pet food and products. Great place to pick up flowers and other seasonal items like pumpkins. Check out was fast friendly and efficient. You can bring your own bags or ask for some. Prices are reasonable. For those that don't know this is the OG location.
Hand nailed quality of work. Christian company. Veteran. Hard dedicated worker. With very good character that will get the job done right. A+++
