I had a detached retina in my right eye. I had a horrible experience with the group in Lincoln. Eight weeks ago I knew I needed to be seen. My vision was closing in and I've had a lot of problems with my right eye in general. When asked about driving to Omaha to be seen my husband and I said absolutely! Dr. Priluck got me in immediately and scheduled my retinal repair that evening. He gave me a 50% chance of possible blindness because of my age(65) and the issues I had previously. I needed the repair and then he did a vitrectomy to hold the retina in place. 7 days of lying facedown, with only a few times getting up
to eat, drink and go to the bathroom. Yesterday was 8 weeks since the surgery and the gas bubble finally disappeared and I can see! I see him again in a few days and I couldn't be happier. I'm forever grateful to Dr. Priluck

My husband suffered a badly detached retina at the same time that he was diagnosed with Covid. Dr. Priluck spent much time on the phone convincing the outpatient center that this surgery had to be done and could be done safely. The surgery was a great success! My husband got his 20/20 vision back--we could not be happier with Dr. Priluck's excellent surgical skills and how we were treated.
