Try it, you won’t regret it. Delicious food, very elegant plated food. Fresh and served hot. So my fiancé is a huge Caesar Salad lover and let me tell you that Cheff Bryan did it right. He nailed it with that and my wedge salad and dessert tiramisu.
We came in to order 3 things only. Yeah I know, lame. But after having just one after another bad restaurant experience it’s kinda like you just don’t want to go back again or out at all! If I get to call out restaurants on here and not sound like a jerk i would. Cheff Bryan, i am happy yo pay the prices you are asking for the meals you are putting out on my table. Fresh, beautiful colors, different style of preparation, and warm. I know, you are probably asking warm? Yeah, I know me too!
So, with that all being said, after nailing down our salad and dessert I can with confidence come back for a dinner meal.
Thank you!
We really enjoyed our experience at Goose 120. As a fan of the former Rivera’s in that space, I’ll admit I just wanted to see what it was like. I was happy to find out it was delicious. It looks like a totally different space and it is larger as they appear to have expanded into the bay to the east as well. Will definitely be back.
Shout out to Goose120!!
Their decor and ambience was lovely and the service was prompt and delightful.
They had my favorite bottle of Zinfandel on their drink menu so of course I had to have a glass. I do wish they had more of a selection of signature mixed drinks but a glass of wine will always do the trick!
I opted for their Crispy Calamari for my appetizer. I have never had calamari in strips like they served it, so I was a little skeptical, but they were delicious and not at all chewy like calamari can so often be.
For my entree I ordered the Vodka Chicken. Noodles were cooked perfectly, chicken had a great smokey flavor and was very moist, and the sauce was very flavorful.
I will return very soon and I’m excited to try more from their menu!!!
NEW RESTAURANT PLUG!
I had the privilege of trying Goose 120 last week during their trial run. While I still mourn the loss of Rivera's (sniff sniff 😥), one must just not think about that when eating here… Come with an open mind! First off, what they did with the place is absolutely amazing. A wall was knocked out on the east side, creating a lot more space and even a couple private rooms. Booths and partitions were added to create a more intimate atmosphere, along with better lighting. The bar renovation is AMAZING with a huge U-shaped bar with bar stools all the way around, and big high-top table in bar area - a lot more seating than the previous unnamed restaurant bar. The food is definitely on the Italian side, but not your typical Italian menu. I had the Chicken Milanese Sandwich which was AMAZING! The drink menu is also fantastic. Great service, ambiance, and great food with reasonable prices makes this a must-try place in mid/northern Omaha! 😋
I absolutely loved my first experience at Goose 120! We decided to give a little bit of everything a try. I had 2 cocktails the Bellini-tini and the Loosey Goosey (pictured). They were both delicious. The flat bread pizza was excellent as well as the Italian French Dip and fries. For dessert, we shared tiramisu and the lemon torte. OMG! SOOO delicious!! I will definitely be making reservations again!!
