“Beautiful new church building in southwest Omaha. Very casual environment with great relatable messages each week from Pastor Craig, with a good bit of humor mixed in. The band plays a nice mix of contemporary songs that sound amazing in the new building and the visual effects/lighting are gorgeous. They also have a live stream if you are traveling or want to check out a service before coming. They provide full child care for infants through 5th graders in the awesome kids area that features a large boat as the stage and separate classrooms for each age group. Coffee, donuts, bagels and more are available before each service in the lobby/lounge area. Everyone is welcoming and friendly and they truly try to make The Water's Edge a church for everyone!”

And it was spiritually sound, and he delivered the sermon well. “I love Luther Memorial! This is the church I attended as a very young child, and the memories of Sunday School and the love of the people stayed with me for years after I had moved on. Three years ago, I decided to find a home church, and decided the first place I would visit was the place I remembered as a child....and I'm so glad I did! I immediately felt like I was home! The experiences I have had with the congregation, the choirs, the pastor, and the various faith groups and circles have been amazing. There is something for everyone here, no matter what age. The Sunday School teachers are brilliant, and the kids here (from 5 to 18) are inspiring! The youth groups are vibrant, the ladies circles are welcoming and both very dedicated to service in the community. Our choir directors are simply magnificent....we are able to share traditional and contemporary music with our congregations. The bible studies and faith groups are especially engaging. What I love most is the freedom to explore my faith and share my story without fear of judgement or rejection....and to have so many faithful, thoughtful and educated faith leaders to work with is simply a blessing. Come join us for Sunday worship, or join us for an activity or two and see just how the Spirit moves in you!”
