Crete Public Library

The staff is friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is wonderful! I love being there and sad to go. It's a whole different world in there. Peaceful and safe and the joy of so many different things to do and learn. Thank you for all you do and being open on Saturdays! God bless you all 🥰

Fantastic programs for the kids. And the staff and volunteers were amazing. I had the JOY of volunteering to help area children stamp Christmas Cards, and assist other Crete children put together cards for friends, and family if our area children! The library staff was fantastic. How lucky we are to have such fantastic Library helpers. I had as much fun as the children did. The imaginational ideas the children had were amazing were amazing!

This was my first time visiting Crete and I was very surprised by how beautiful and expansive their library is! This is a first class facility and I highly recommend people come check it out.

This library is GORGEOUS and well-organized. The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. They have an updated recommendation list with reviews, access to computers and a printer/copier, quiet spaces to read, and beautiful gardens with a playground. They also have a lot of activities for kids and teens to attend.
